Anteriormente les había comentado que me encantaba lo minimalista y lo cierto es, que es una tendencia marcada actualmente en el mundo de la moda. "Menos es más" y la simplicidad han llegado para quedarse, buscando representar a las mujeres de una manera elegante pero con una noción más futurista.

En Venezuela, la joven diseñadora Constanza Oquendo siempre se ha destacado por diseñar piezas elegantes y esta vez nos trae su nueva colección Spring Summer 2016, a la cual nombró "Solid & Pure". Inspirada en lo industrial y aquitectónico, se renueva para destacar el minimalismo, con prendas modernas hecha para la mujer cosmopolita y ciudadana del mundo. Esa mujer que busca empoderarse, crear su propio mundo y vida para trascender en el tiempo.

En el look book pueden ver que destacan vestidos, chaquetas, pantalones, faldas y camisas con cortes geométricos, diseños de líneas rectas y de silueta suelta. Están realizadas en terciopelo, crepé y tafetán con bordado de terciopelo y la paleta de colores que utilizó me pareció muy acertada, utilizó el negro, blanco y el nude, acompañados por el magenta. Siento que el magenta le da un toque femenino y a la vez para romper con esa neutralidad de los otros colores.

I wrote to you before that I love the minimalism and it has become a really important trend in fashion at this moment. "Less is more" and the simplicity have come to stay, looking to represent women in an elegant way but in a futuristic version.

In Venezuela, the young designer Constanza Oquendo have always stand out for designing elegant garments and this time, she brings to us her new Spring Summer 2016 collection, which is called "Solid & Pure". Inspired by the industrial and architectural, she renewed to highlight the minimalist fashion, with modern clothes made for a cosmopolitan woman and citizen of the world. This woman is looking to empower, to create her own world and life, to transcend in time.

In the look book you can see dresses, jackets, pants, skirt and shirts with geometrical cuts, straight structures and loose silhouette. They are made in velvet , crepe and taffeta with embroidered velvet. I think that the color palette is a success; she used black, white and nude with magenta. I feel that the magenta gave it a femenine touch and it broke with the neutrality of the other colors.
