EPK: Colección Otoño Invierno 2015-2016

Recuerdo que de pequeña era normal que te vistieran de EPK o que te regalaran algo de allí y que en ese momento se llamaba El Principito (cero vieja yo). Es una marca de orgullo venezolano y que es reconocida internacionalmente; honestamente el trabajo de EPK siempre ha sido impecable y de eso se debe tanto éxito.

Hoy les vengo a contar sobre la colección Otoño-Invierno 2015-2016. Me alegra saber que la colección está inspirada en Tokyo, Japón, es uno de esos lugares que siempre he querido ir y al ver las fotos de la colección sentí que me transportaron a los lugares más turísticos del famoso centro urbano sin necesidad de un pasaje (por ahora).

I remember that when I was little it was normal for your mom to dress you up with EPK or that someone gives you a gift from there, also I remember that at the moment the brand was called "El Principito" (yes, I feel old). EPK is a venezuelan brand internationally recognized, honestly their work have always been impeccable and that's why it has so much success.

Today I wanted to tell you about the Fall Winter 2015- 2016 collection. I was so thrilled to know it was inspired by Tokyo, Japan, it is one of those places that I have always wanted to go, and while I was looking through the pictures of the collection, I really felt I was being transported there without the need of a ticket plane (for now).

Los colores azules, rojos, verdes, negros y grises, con divertidos estampados se convirtieron en los protagonistas de las prendas inspiradas en Shibuya. Es uno de los distritos más famosos y populares de Tokyo, rodeado de vallas publicitarias, enormes pantallas y locales de comida. En las fotos tomaron en cuenta uno de los elementos más importantes de Shibuya, los bolsos escolares rojos y los típicos paraguas transparentes.

The colors, blue, red, green, black and gray, with fun prints became the main characters of the garments inspired on Shibuya. This is one of the most famous and popular districts of Tokyo, with ads, big screens and food chains. In the photo they capture one of the most important elements of Shibuya, the red school bags and the typical, transparent umbrellas.

Los colores y el esplendor del sagrado Monte Fuji fueron una gran inspiración para este grupo de prendas. Realmente lo veo muy reflejado gracias a las tonalidades azules,verdes y estampados de flores y camuflajes. El fondo de estas fotos simplemente te hace querer viajar y disfrutar de la naturaleza presente en Japón.

The colors and the splendor of the sacred Mount Fuji were the big inspiration for this group of garments. I really see it reflected thanks to the green, blue tones and the flower and camuflage prints. The bottom of the pictures simply makes you want to travel and enjoy the nature in Japan.

¡Los árboles de cerezos son mis favoritos! No hay nada para mí que hable más de Japón que estos árboles. Para tomar las fotos fueron a un parque botánico ubicado en "Shinjuku Gyoen". Las niñas se lucieron con prendas con tonalidades rosas y gris y los niños con toques de marrón.

The cherry blossoms are my favorites! There is nothing that says more of "Japan" to me that these trees. To take the pictures they went to a botanic park located in "Shinjuku Gyoen". The girls wore garments with pink and gray colors and the boys with shades of brown.

Otra localidad hermosa que visitaron para las fotos fue el "Yoyogi Park". Con looks más casuales, sobresale una amplia gama de rosados, morados y verdes.Las niñas con estampados de flores y leopardo y para los niños tonos morados y verde militar con figuras de dinosarios y animales.

Another turistic location they visited was the "Yoyogi Park". With looks more casual, they projected a range of pinks, purples and greens. The girls with floral and animal prints and for the boys shades of purple and militar green with dinosaur and animal figures.

Además de su hermosa naturaleza, no podemos negar que Japón es una ciudad futurística. Uno de los ejemplos claves es el "Sky Tree", la torre más alta de Tokyo. De allí destacaron los tonos grises acompañados de azul y verde por los niños y fucsia y morado para las niñas. Los accesorios metalizados no pueden faltar para crear ese look futurista.

Besides it's beautiful nature, we can not deny that Japan is a futuristic city. One of the key examples is the "Sky Tree", the biggest tower in Tokyo. From there they took the example of the grey shades combined with blue and green for the boys, and fuchsia and purple for the girls. The metallic accessories are necessary to create a futuristic look.

Por último, para esta navidad EPK trae como propuesta utilizar los colores grises, beige, rojos, con toques de dorado. Estampados de flores y estrellas para las niñas y cuadros para que los niños luzcan impecables. Este grupo de la colección fue bautizado como "Sparkling Christmas", el templo "Hanazono Jinja Shrine" fue seleccionada para la locación de las fotos.

For this christmas EPK brings the proposal of wearing greys, beiges, reds, with touches of gold. Floral and star prints for the girls and check patterns for the boys to look impeccable. This group of garments from the collection was baptized by the name of "Sparkling Christmas", the temple called "Hanazono Jinja Shrine" was selected for the location of this pictures.
