Inspiration: Dior Cuise 2016

¡Hola a todos! Vuelvo para mostrarles otro post de inspiración. Recuerden que aunque no puedas comprar marcas lujosas, los diseñadores siempre marcan las tendencias y realmente se puede aprender muchísimo de ellos.

Hello everyone! I'm back with another post of inspiration. Remember that even if you can´t buy luxury brands, we can always learn the new trends from famous designers.

Quería hablarles de la nueva Colección Crucero de Dior 2016; que por cierto,¡me encantó!.Este años se presentó en el "Palacio Bulles" en Cannes, Francia. Este lugar fue diseñado por el arquitecto Antii Lovag y es propiedad de Pierre Cardin, quien fue diseñador de Dior a finales de los años 40. Realmente me parece un lugar único para mostrar una colección y además tiene la vista hacia el mar, lo que lo hace aún más atractivo. Raf Simons, director creativo de Dior, se inspiró en la Riviera Francesa para crear todas las piezas.

This time, I wanted to talk to you about Dior's Cruise Collection 2016. This year was presented at the "Bubble Palace" in Cannes, France. This place was designed by the arquitect Antii Lovag and is the property of Pierre Cardin, who was a designer of Dior a the end of the 40's. I think it was a unique place to show a collection and it was also very attractive because it had a view of the sea. Raf Simons, fashion director of Dior, was inspired by the French Riviera to create all the pieces.

Lo primero que hay que destacar fueron los bolsos de la marca francesa y los accesorios, que aunque los looks buscaban ser cero recargados, igual no se pueden pasar por alto. Los bolsos que destacaron fueron los de mano con colores vivos y las limosneras que colgaban de cadenas doradas, con estampados de flores. Los zarcillos eran simples pero lo que resaltó fue que se usaba uno distinto en cada oreja. Y por último, destacaron los botines puntiagudos hechos de gamuza.

The first thing we have to mention are the bags and accessories of this french brand.There were handbags in bright colors and bucket bags with flower prints. The earrings were simple, but you can see that the models wore different earrings in each ear. And for last, the pointy boots made with suede were very original.

Me encantó la combinación de mini vestidos, en forma de campana con los botines. Aunque en Venezuela creo que no estamos acostumbrados a utilizar botines o botas en general.

I loved the combination of a mini dress with the pointy boots. Even though in Venezuela people are not used to wear ankle boots or boots in general.

Otra de las propuestas fueron vestidos con estampados psicodélicos con colores vivos, perfectos para el día en el verano y otros looks totalmente contrarios, vestidos maxi, minimalistas de negro o blanco para la noche.

At the runway they showed beautiful dresses in psychedelic prints and in bright colors (perfect for summer!) and they also showed an opposite more sober look, maxi dresses in black and white for summer nights.

Y la última inspiración para mí fue el uso camisas de botones blancas combinadas con faldas de estampados creo que es muy clásico y elegante.

And the last inspiration for me, was that the models wore white shirts combined with print skirts, I think is really classic and elegant.

Por último, les quería contar que los invitados tuvieron un brunch en el hotel "Belles Rives", donde todo estaba identificado con la marca, desde las sillas hasta los vacitos para los helados. ¿Qué les parece?

For last, I wanted to tell you that the guests had a brunch at the "Belles Rives" hotel where everything was identified by the brand, the chairs, the cups for the ice cream and more. What do you think?
