Spring Trends

¡Hola hola! Aunque en mi país vivimos en un eterno verano, no podemos dejar de aprovechar las nuevas tendencias de primavera y adaptarlas a nuestro estilo personal. Esta es una época que implica una explosión de colores, ropa fresca, zapatos cómodos y la combinación de hermosos estampados. Por eso aquí les explico algunas de mis tendencias favoritas y cómo pueden utilizarlas.

Hello! Even though I live in a country where we have an endless summer, we refresh ourselves with the spring trends to addapt them to our personal style. This is the season of color explotion, fresh clothes, comfortable shoes and the match of beautiful prints. That´s why here I tell you which are my favorite spring trends and how to wear them

Creo que esta es la tendencia más comentada; los flecos volvieron y en presentaciones que van desde kimonos, zandalias, carteras, faldas y vestidos. La forma correcta de utilizar esta tendencia es escoger sólo una prenda o accesorio con flecos porque si utilizas más de una, te verás demasiado recargada. Si te encanta el estio bohemio chic no dejes de llevar puesta esta tendencia, ¡se ve genial!

I believe this is the most commented trend; the fringes returned and in a lot of presentations like kimonos, sandals, bags, skirts and dresses. The correct way to wear this trend is to choose just one piece or accessory with fringe because if you wear more than one it will look excessive. If you love the boho chic style, include this in your wardrobe it looks fantastic!

Los vestidos tipo camisa son un clásico que no puede faltar, incluso puede que en el clóset de tu mamá encuentres por lo menos uno de estos vestidos. Lo bueno de esta prenda es que puedes llevarla tanto de día como de noche, yo recomiendo que busques que el vestido no sea tan corto porque puede pasar a ser vulgar.

Ahorita se está utilizando mucho las sandalias con plataformas, los mocasines y los zapatos de goma; los cuales son perfectos para combinar con estos vestidos; además, que lo ideal es que luzcas chic pero que te sientes cómoda y relajada. Como última recomendación, si te gusta más resaltar tu figura, agrega un cinturón y listo.

The shirt dresses are classics that you shouldn't miss, I believe is a style piece that every mom has in her closet. The good thing about this dress is that you can wear it at any ocassion by day and night.

The length should be a little bit over the knee because it can end out looking tacky. Right now the flatforms, the loafers and sneakers are "in" and perfect to combined with the shirt dresses. Combining this together would make and effortless chic look. My last recommendation is that if you like to highlight your waist include a belt and you are ready.

Los culottes son como unas bermudas pero con vuelo, son ajustadas a la cintura y abajo son tan sueltas que de lejo pueden parecer una falda. Le favorece mucho a las mujeres altas sin embargo, si no eres una mujer con esa altura (como yo) no tienes porque limitarte y puedes llevarla con unos tacones (recomiendo los nude porque ayudan a alargar las piernas). Como abajo tienen bastante vuelo en la parte de arriba usa una camisa o crop top ajustada.

The culottes are flared trousers cut to look like a skirt from far and are high waisted. This piece flatters the tall women but, if you are not tall (like me), don´t worry just add some beautifull heels and that´s it (I recommend to use nude high heels because it helps your legs to look longer). Because of the length and width of the pants I recommend you to use tight shirts, blouses and crop tops.

Para esta temporada destacan los siguientes prints:

1) Floral: Por supuesto que no puede faltar los estampados de flores ya que son un clásico que se ha mantenido a lo largo de los años. ¿Qué es lo que diferencia la temporada de este año de las demás? Utilizar estampados de flores de gran tamaño y de colores fuertes .

2) Líneas en blanco y negro: Utiliza outfits donde mezcles distintos patrones de líneas en blanco y negro. Yo pienso que se ve genial mezclar líneas gruesas con otra prenda que tenga líneas más delgadas.

3) Gingham: Utiliza piezas femeninas con este estampado de cuadros, como faldas largas, vestidos, blazers y crop tops. Al igual que los flecos no exageres, utilízalo de manera delicada y usa accesorios neutros.

This are the spring prints:

1) Floral: Of course this season is inevitable that we see outfits with floral prints because it's a classic that has been there through the years. But this year, what makes the floral print different is that you have to look for clothes with large flowers and strong colors.

2) Black and white lines: Use outfits where you mix different patterns of lines in black and white. I think it looks great to mix thick lines with another garment with thin lines.

3) Gingham: Wear ladylike outfits with this print of squares, like long skirts, dresses, blazers and crop tops. Just like the fringe trend don't over do it, wear it in a delicate way and with neutral accessories.
