Fall-Winter ideas

¡Hola a todos! Como muchos saben, Venezuela no es un país con estaciones; la mayoría del año es un clima cálido, con lluvia y sólo los meses de diciembre y enero se empieza a percibir más el frío. Sin embargo, creo que una vez que hay frío en el país, nuestra manera de vestir cambia y muchos estamos pendiente de las tendencias de moda en el mundo. Con este post quiero mostrarles mis tendencias favoritas de otoño- invierno.

¡Hello! As some of you may know, my country Venezuela is not a country that has seasons. The mayority of the year the weather is warm, sometimes with rain, and just in december and january we feel a cold weather. However, I think that once we feel the cold, we change our way to dress and some of us are always in touch of which are the fall trends of the year. With this post I want to show you which are my favorite Fall- Winter trends.

1- Black Fedoras

Desde las "It Girls", celebridades y fashion bloggers; a todas las he visto usando este accesorio que complementa sus outfits brindando una chispa de "effortless chic" (Chic sin esfuerzo). Sinceramente no tengo este sombrero en mi closet porque no me gusta usar mucho accesorios en la cabeza pero no he parado de obsesionarme con este sombrero y en cuanto pueda compraré uno. Aquí les puse una foto de cómo combinarlo, me encanta la combinación de grises, blancos y negros para esta época del año, pueden ser opacos pero la fedora definitivamente le brinda ese toque "cool".

There are a lot of "It Girls", celebrities and fashion bloggers I have seen using this accessory that complements their outit, giving them a touch of effortless chic. Honestly, I don't have a fedora in my closet, because I am not a headwear person, but I have been obsessed with this accessory and I can´t wait to buy one for me. In this image, I was trying to show you how you can wear it in fall, you can wear basic clothe or with skirts and dresses, I believe the fedora can transform your outfit to a way cooler version.

2- Long sleeve crop tops

Los crop tops fueron una gran tendencia de primavera-verano pero hasta para el frío estas camisas aparecieron para adaptarse con manga larga. Puedes encontrar crop tops con lentejuelas, cuello tortuga y hasta sueteres. Son hermosos para usarlos con pantalones de talle alto y faldas con tachones.

The crop tops were a big trend in spring- summer but even in cold this tops fit to this season with long sleeves. You can find them in sequin, turtlenecks and like sueters. It is beautifull if you wear them with high waisted pants and with a flared skirt.

3- Over- the- knee

Creo que está es la tendencia que más me costó porque nunca fui fan de las botas altas, si me ponen a escoger prefiero las pequeñas, pero como dice el lema "nunca digas nunca"; he visto a muchas celebridades y blogueras usarlas y me está empezando a gustar. Esa combinación de vestidos y faldas con botas largas o medias arriba de las rodillas me parecen genial, no sé si en Venezuela sea bien visto pero no deberíamos de guiarnos por lo que dicen los demás, si te provoca usar las botas, úsalas.

I think this trend was the most difficult for me to digest, I was never fan of over the knee boots, if you tell me to choose between them and ankle boots I prefer ankle boots, but as the phrase "never say never" says, lately, I have seen a lot of celebrities and fashion bloggers using them and as magic happens,now I liked them. That combination of dresses and skirts with over the knee boots and socks are very cool. I don't know if in Venezuela people may like it, but you don´t have to follow others opinion, if you want to wear this boots, wear them.

4- Pearls and Gold

Los accesorios más lindos que he visto esta temporada, el collar de oro me parece elegante y combinable con tantas cosas y el collar de dos perlas me parece una pieza muy original y clásica, es como la evolución minimalista del típico collar de perlas. Estos dos accesorios son sencillos pero creo que son un must y definitivamente los agregué a mi lista de deseos de navidad.

This are the most beautifull accessories I have seen this season, the Golden Choker is very elegant and it can be matched with so many things; and the two pearl necklace is so original. This necklace is like a minimalist evolution from the typical pearl necklace of all times. This accessories are so simple but for me is a "must", I definetely added them to my wish list for christmas.
